North Branch of HVEG exercise control and maintenance of 35-330 kV electric grid and is responsible for energy transport to the distribution network, as well as to the major consumers in 9 regions of the north zone of the Republic of Moldova. These areas include: Balti, Glodeni, Falesti, Ungheni, Singerei, Floresti, Rezina, Soldanesti, Riscani.
As per 01.01.2017 North Branch of HVEG exercise control at 58 35-330 kV substations with total installed power of 1444,55 MVA and one 330 kV substation Balti.
